[That message is fired off far too quickly for him to think about the...rather excited number of question marks, there - another quickly follows.]

But you said you hate it? What has it done? Do you have wings? Has it changed too much of your body? YOUR FACE! Has it done something to your face??

...I'm not sure if you're more fascinated or alarmed. I imagine it's a combination of both, so I'm going to reiterate that I'm all right.

It has most certainly done things to my face, however. Wings are also rather present, though I haven't tried to do anything with them yet.

The exalted transformations are very challenging! I mean, not that I think you can't handle it, but your first message sounded very upset, mon cheri.

I think the powers associated with Sanguis have changed in this particular form; it isn't fire anymore. That seems like something you would be interested in knowing.

[! He's considering it? That's a massive change from how Lysandre has been with his previous Sanguis transformations, so Sycamore can't help but be excited. He could come over? See him? Make sure he's okay? That would be the dream, made real...]

Well, at least that means nothing will be burned! Although it's a little ironic that the dragon form no longer has the ability to manipulate fire. To be fair, perhaps I have been spending too much time around Charizard!

[It's a little unconscious, but he can't help himself from sliding on a jacket, making sure his keys are in his pocket and that shoes are handy. If Lysandre is actually considering letting him come over, he doesn't want to waste time.]

Again, I'm considering. And sorting out how to make any of this look presentable, if at all possible. You know how I am.

You know I won't think any less of you, right? I don't care if you're in a suit or sweatpants, mon cheri. Or if Sanguis has decided to give you wings or claws or whatever else a dragon has.

So if you're stressed about looking good for me, please don't.

[That actually brings another thought to mind - would Lysandre tell him if he got sick, and looked terrible because of it? That's going to have to go on the list for the goats.....]

I know. I also know that you know I wouldn't leave, it just feels like something worth reiterating.

I'm sorry. That must have been a dreadful shock.

It was...interesting, to put it gently.

At least it isn't completely hideous. I can work with it.

I can say with complete confidence - even though I haven't seen you - that you don't look hideous whatsoever.

[That preparation certainly came in handy, because Sycamore is out the door in seconds after roughly pulling on his shoes. The journey to Lysandre's apartment is a practised one and, he's found, far faster to travel if you're riding on a Charizard. So when he said shortly, he very much meant shortly; he's not sure how much time elapsed between him sending that message and the point at which he softly knocks on Lysandre's door, but it can't have been much.]
